The SUPRA interdisciplinary network provided policy-related research
and advisory services for Scotland, the UK and internationally. It became
an internationally recognised authority on the conduct and management
of interdisciplinary research and advised a wide range of organisations
on the integration of natural and social science disciplines in research
and policy contexts.
It was funded by the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council from 1998-2002.
From October 2002, arising from the success of the SUPRA network, the Economic
and Social Research Council funded the Innogen
Centre.
The following SUPRA members are now continuing their research and policy
advisory activities in areas related to genomics through the Innogen
Centre: Joyce
Tait, Robin
Williams, D.
Jane Bower , Catherine
Lyall , Wendy Faulkner, Ann
